I have some good news - we'll have this. David got back to me and we're getting a print-res file. Not only that but there'll be a limited edition run of posters of it later this month, of which I have reserved one. Woo.

It's just the Penguin re-issue of the book, with the layout of the continents on the cover in braille. I took a photo of it on the piano and then darkened it to bring out the really light text and the (now quite dirty) raised dots...

It's a stunning book. Really speculative in that its about a world where Japan and Germany split up ownership of the continents after winning WWII...and also really humanist as it explores how people deal with a world that still has a lot in common with the real one, but where the authoritarian personality is the norm. There's a lot more. Tons more. You should learn to read and get into it.

I wish I could read... This sounds like an experience I had just a couple of weeks ago.

"but my watch, I knew, was in another universe" I think you may have said this to me before but not as a quote, just another of those interesting experiences.

Hey Libby,
Mmmm tidalness, waves, shores. these things all float my boat in a big way - as do you, your lovely man, your wonderful daughter and King Maxi. I'll hopefully wash up in Brighton sooner rather than later.

Valerie,
Thanks for the kind words, and the passing of them on. You should be able to download 'Eras' from last.fm, and a few others from Soundcloud if you're interested.

Oh Biff

Gra just sent me this. It's beautiful and so are you. Going to be haunting me some glowing night this summer.

We are so tidal. Especially us women.

Missing you dear man. May the moon wash you up on our shores again one day.

Hi, I like your blog. I would like to say that at the present time, the quality of education is far worse than it used to be a few decades ago. Computers seem to assist students in education; however, on the other hand they deprive people from thinking. What about distant type of education? Is not it of poor quality? ashworth university is an educational establishment that provides accredited online education. It offers career training courses in different fields. Learn about its drawbacks from www.pissedconsumer.com.
