The first book by the Time Travel Opportunists (Emma, Nathan, and Biff). Five stories and one song inspired by our favourite drink.
It began as an excersize to get us focused, to get to know each other’s art. But it was fun. And we wanted other people to read and hear what we’d written. We wanted a big party where words and music and laughter and drink collided, where awkward spoken word became more like punk rock in a small room, no entrance fee, no pretense.
Derby City Council were really into it, and gave us a small amount of money to make 100 books. We made them all by hand in our living room, drinking coffee while we bound.
