Emphemetry Gets Wet

A two-track cd-r single of Emphemetry remodelling Andrew W.K’s ‘Ready To Die’ and ‘Party Hard’ with reverb drenched organs, acoustic guitars, glockenspiel and voice. Ltd. to 55 copies.
A day or two off work, and an obsession with Andrew W.K led to this one. Packaged in fabric (cut off’s from The Little Explorer’s Sky/Moon) and held together with a badge depicting Emphemetry with a bleeding nose. ‘Ready To Die’ became twinkly and harmonic, whereas ‘Party Hard’ became ambient and serene. If AWK’s originals got you through the night, these would versions would be for when you watch the sun come up and wonder why no-one is around at such a beautiful time of day, and that maybe that’s what makes it so beautiful, and that maybe it’s time you got some sleep.
